An Evil Stepmother in Real Life?

My mom died when I was 6. My dad remarried this older "Christian" lady to be a female role model when I was 9. I was immature at that time and didn't like her very much and told her so. She started acting aloof around me and wanted to have her own kid so she and my dad started going to some kind of fertility place and she eventually got pregnant when I was 11. That was when she got mean and everything but then I thought it was just hormones. Except she got nastier after the pregnancy and her parents made it worse by spreading rumors about everyone. Then we tried to have a sit-down talk with them but they just refused to see from our point of view. And so yeah she pretty much emotionally abused me and my dad for 2.5 years. Now things are getting better, but her parents are here again and my stepmom always acts mean when they're around because of this childhood she had or something. Can any of you give me some spiritual guidance on how to deal with this situation? I feel afraid whenever I'm around her and she still openly hates me (like purposely ignoring my presence and saying stuff "your daughter's a waste of my money" and "your daughter's a spoiled brat" to my dad...for some reason she never says that to my face???) I'm a Christian and I still believe that God has a purpose for all this so non-Christians please don't make rude comments about my religion. Thank you for reading all this!

Wireless N300 PCI Adapter not working, please help?

I have an Encore ENLWI-NX2 wireless card, and my friend helped me install it and it has been working for a long time now. But today another friend help me set up some stuff in msconfig and I did a restart and now it doesn't work at all. It says something about the 4 and 6 protocols but those are set, and another thing about it's drivers not working. If anyone has any clue on how I can get it working again that would be awesome. Oh and I have no idea about this computer stuff so make sure it's info a noob can understand xD

Drug testing for a job..?

I had to get a drug test at a hospital for my new job, the test was a week ago. I just got a voicemail from a doctor referring to the job/test and told me to call back saying he needs to talk to me. I called back and no answer...does this mean I likely failed my test or is this typical protocol?

Let Me In movie question?

After seeing the movie Let Me In, I was very puzzled by the ending. Does Abby truly love Owen or is she just using him so he could take over Thomas's role? Did Owen want to leave with Abby at the end or did he reluctantly go? Because the way he looked out the window on the train, he looked sad to leave. Also, when Abby saved him in the pool scene, he didn't look grateful that Abby saved him but scared. I really hope that the feelings between Abby and Owen is mutual because then that ruins the romance in the movie. Please answer all of these questions as detailed as you can. Thank you.

Hi all, I recently auditioned (via a video audition) for a national online talent search for a feature indie film called "The Place Beyond the Pines". The deadline for submissions was yesterday (6/30/2011) and I was wondering how long it would take for them to contact whomever recieved the role back. Please if you dont know and your freeballing the answer like "oh should be in like a week, 3 days, etc" dont answer!!!!!
