My laptop can't connect to my new router?

I have a Belkin Dual Band N600 router and my laptop can't connect to the internet and stays on local only. I tried all the trouble shooting on it from the protocols to the flags. I uninstall the drivers and put them back in. But no matter what I do I can't get it to connect to the net. It connect just fine with my old router and I have 2 ipod and another pc connected to this router but can't get the laptop to connect. I'm open to any solution that would get it back online.
