Can I use my school's name in my book?

I'm currently in the process of writing a book about the private schools in the city I grew up in (social dynamic, academic pressure, etc.). I wouldn't call it a memoir, but all of the events are true and have happened to me. I have changed the names of everyone I have written about, but I was wondering if anyone knew what the protocol was about naming my school? I attended a private school with a fairly good reputation, and what I'm writing isn't defaming the school, but I have a story about a particularly problematic teacher I had and it's becoming difficult to write it without using the name of the school.
